What Is a Titanium Strip Coil?
A titanium strip coil is a form of semi-finished metal product manufactured by slitting wider titanium coils into narrow strips. Typically produced from commercially pure titanium grades such as Gr1 and Gr2, these strips combine excellent corrosion resistance, high specific strength, and good plasticity.
Key Characteristics & Production
The material is renowned for its low density (4.51 g/cm³), high melting point (1660°C), and superior oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. Our strips are produced through hot and cold rolling processes, followed by vacuum annealing, which ensures a bright surface finish and stable mechanical properties. The final delivery condition is the annealed state (denoted as ‘M’).
